We are an introduction service of 27years history. Our functions are personalised, with introductions to other members arranged. They are more than just venues where you blindly meet total strangers. Each function includes 30 to 60 guests. People are more genuine, eligibly single and friendly. We introduce you personally to everyone at the function.

 

Theme functions: eg. Mediterranean Night, Multicultural Night, Asian night, Middle East Night etc... aiming at creating opportunities to meet people of specific cultural backgrounds are also held.

 

The age group of our functions are divided into specific age and open age.

 

Multicultural Night for ages under 50, normally in the city centre.
Dinner and dance for ages 45-66 in numerous restaurants or venues around Sydney.

 

Our regular functions are normally on the last two Saturdays of the month. Other functions or gatherings are organised according to the suggestions and wishes of our members. The basic benefit of our functions is that you do get to know people on a personal level, more so than if you just joined a noisy crowd for a night out.

 

Most people we invite are people we know - pre-screening is done to ensure you are meeting someone eligible and friendly. We introduce everyone personally at the function, you feel relaxed and able to make friends. Cocktail parties are easy to mingle at. At our dinner functions, we make sure people swap seats so they can talk to everyone. Additional support or assistance is provided after the function if you need to get to know someone that you feel interested in.

 

As we are a dating service, people who attend our functions are usually our registered members but also include guests of our members or people from outside our service.

 

People at our functions do not represent most of our clientele.

Only part of our members attends functions. The rest (introduction members) mostly prefer one to one meetings, because of personal preferences or privacy reasons.

 

There is a general difference between introduction members and people who just prefer meeting at the functions: introduction members tend to be more ready for a stable partner while people who are only interested in functions are more likely to be at a stage of life of just dating or making friends. They are more cautious about getting into a committed relationship.

It is advisable to contact Rose if you are interested in someone or approached by someone at the functions. This can save you time, effort or emotional discomfort if you follow up with someone who may not be compatible. Because we know something about each of our members and guests, when a third person is involved it is usually more reliable, just like when you meet someone through your friends. Our experience from past and cases tells us that this is important.
